Ghana Insects is an insect collection business based in Ghana. We have a group of well trained insect collectors, working in the Forest and the Savannahs of Ghana.
Our aim is to create alternative livelihood to natives who live in the forest areas of Ghana.
We believe we can conserve the rainforest, by making the locals collect and trade in the products of the forest than to destroying the forest itself.
Most of our suppliers, were former firewood harvesters and charcoal burners. Our collection range from the tiniest unknown insects to the very large ones. |
